I have been quite creative since we came back from our holiday. I'm thinking about Halloween and even Christmas projects! I definitely have the bug! I've wanted some christening favor boxes for ages and I just couldn't do anything to be happy with. So, thinking about Halloween, I was thinking about monsters...about monster's feet. And from there I thought to myself, oh well, babies can be little monsters...and I made versions in baby pink and baby blue. 

Capul mi-a fost plin de idei de cand ne-am intors din vacanta. Ma gandesc la Halloween si chiar la Craciun. Am tot vrut sa fac marturii pentru botez de mult timp si am avut unele incercari dar nu am fost prea fericita cu ele. Deci, gandindu-ma la Halloween, ma gandeam la monstri...la picioare de monstri. Si de acolo gandul m-a dus ca si copiii pot fi monstruleti...asa ca am facut versiuni si in roz si albastru.

Fun tents favor boxes / Cutii marturii sub forma de corturi

 Summer is here so I thought these fun tents would be great if filled with sweets and given as favor boxes. Great for an outdoor party.

Favor boxes turned into place cards / Marturii de nunta transformate in carduri cu nume

  I was thinking that a good idea would be to use a favor box, any favor box, in my case the slice cake one, and use it as place card. So the guest comes in and finds the favor box turned into place card. So, choose your favor box/place card in a mini, medium and large version, simple or with butterfly punches.

M-am tot gandit si cred ca o idee buna e sa impusti 2 iepuri deodata: adica sa transformi marturiile in carduri cu nume. Nuntasul vine si gaseste pe farfurie cutia marturie cu numele sau. Astfel stie unde ii este desemnat locul si cu ocazia asta primeste si marturia. Deci, daca aveti o nunta, alegeti-va cutia in versiune mini, medium sau mare, simpla sau cu fluturi.

 I love these slice of cake favor boxes. They are so versatile! You can make so much with them! My imagination is indeed what I need! In this case I made something for easter: a mama duck with her ducklings.

Imi plac tare mult cutiile astea in forma de felie de tort. Poti face asa de multe cu ele! Tot ce-mi trebuie e intr-adevar imaginatie! In cazul asta am facut o mamica rata cu pui.

Place cards / Carduri cu nume pentru nunta

 

  These are my place cards that can be also escort cards. Yes, I have learned another thing about weddings: escort cards. They are the new version of the guest books. And these are beautiful scallop hearts.

Acestea sunt card-urile mele cu nume. Sunt inimi cu margini ondulate care se leaga cu o fonta de piciorul paharului, si astfel toata lumea stie unde trebuie sa stea.

 These are the heart wishing tree tags that I made for my client.  They look great hung in a tree or even a line becoming part of the decor.  

Acestea sunt cardurile cu urari pe care le-am facut pentru clienta mea. Arata super agatate de un copac (copacul urarilor) sau pe o panglica care devine parte din decor.

Oaspetii vin si scriu urari pentru miri pe carduri iar apoi le agata de copac. La fel se pot face de botez -  urari pentru bebe, pentru viitoarea mama si banuiesc ca se pot face pentru multe alte ocazii. Metoda clasica este o carte la intrare unde nuntasii scriu urari.

Ma mir cate mai inventeaza oamenii. Imaginatia asta!

Wishing tree tags birds or doves

 

 This is my newest thing: wishing tree tags. There are so many things that I don't know about weddings - probably more than I think. 

A client asked for some wishing tree tags and i didn't know what those were. So I Googled it. And now, after about 2 months I came up with these birds, that I like very much but takes me ages to make. They are double, so lots of space to write a message on. 

First I started with the paper feathers (I don't know exactly when I had the idea with the paper feathers) and now I gave a body to the feathers! They look very delicate.

Now, it's funny how one thing leads to another. In fact I was playing with a plastic bottle, thinking that I want to recycle it somehow. And I thought why not a mobile hanging with birds, for the garden. So, I started cutting and working and the birds were way too simple. And then I added some plastic sheet feathers and they looked well. And that is how my wishing tree bird/doves tags were born!

Origami butterflies Easter wreath / Coronita de Paste cu fluturi origami

 My wreath for this Easter is really easy to make: origami butterflies in various sizes and colors glued on a cardboard base.

Hats for the Easter eggs / Palarii si caciuli pentru ouale de Paste

 

 

 

We got creative the other night, my hubby and I, and made these Easter eggs. He drew the faces on the eggs and I did the rest.

This crocheted hat I used in this project, for the Christmas hat and collar wine bottle, and I thought I should reuse it. 

And since it takes a lot time for me to crochet hats or anything else, I made the yellow hat and collar in 1 minute. Just cut and sew the material.

Palarii mici pentru oale de Paste sau papusi

Seara trecuta ne-a luat valul cu creatia. Sotul a desenat fetele pe oua si eu am facut restul.

Caciula tricotata am mai folosit-o si in proiectul acesta, la caciula si fularul pentru sticla de vin, si m-am gandit ca nu strica s-o refolosesc.

Si pentru ca imi ia mult timp sa tricotez ceva, am facut caciulita si fularul galben intr-un minut. Am taiat materialul si l-am cusut rapid.
